Paul Tomkins

Paul Tomkins is an English football columnist and author. He writes solely about Liverpool F.C., of whom he is an avid fan. He is 36 years old and was diagnosed with Chronic fatigue syndrome in 1999.[1] As a fan first, Tomkins's articles mainly focus on statistics and analysis in context, while assessing management decisions from both positive and negative aspects. Paul is currently spending the majority of his time working on his internet blog, called The Tomkins Times.

His support of Rafael Benitez has come under much criticism (as well as the manager himself) among fans of other clubs and even among some Liverpool fans. His support for Rafael Benitez has also received widespread praise; among journalists and fans of Liverpool and other clubs, for his analytical and statistical research, culminating in a direct argument against many unfounded assumptions.

2008 saw his latest book 'Dynasty' reach the top bestseller lists on many internet booksellers websites, notably Amazon.
